I really struggled on Saturday night to get to sleep, so at 12 o'clock I decided to get up and have a little play in my craft room!!! I've had this Dawn Bibby paper for years and the Christmas trees and script paper were in a little kit I got the other year. Not the best of pics, but all the shiny surfaces made it a bit tricky :o)
I am useless at the moment, I keep forgetting to do things or think I have already done them!!!! Hopefully this will improve before baby arrives, otherwise I'll be coming home and forgetting the little one.
The lovely Michelle at Card Grotto organised a Secret Sister and now is the time to reveal who our Secret Sister was. Although I know this won't come as a surprise to the lady, as I stamped my card with my name and forgot is was meant to be Secret!!! Anyway I sent my goodies to Gina at The Card Kabin. I didn't think to take a picture of the goodies before I sent them so you can find a pic on Gina's blog here.
I also got a lovely card and goodies off my Secret Sister and I had guessed from the style of the card who it was from!! Thanks Julie, you are right I do love my Penny Blacks!
Well not managed too many cards this week, seem to have more energy now, but Matt finished his law degree exams on Monday so I've been spending time most evening with him. It's a bit strange spending so much time with him, as the last month he has been studying every evening and all weekend!!!!! Hopefully in 3 weeks time I will know if we are having a little boy or girl, Miss Organised here can't bear not knowing as I want to start decorating the room and getting things sorted.
The first card is using this lovely little image that Michelle from Card Grotto, he is such a cutie.

Tracy at Dies to Die For has some fab High Hopes Christmas stamps in stock at the moment and I just had to play with this one. I really love this stamp, as you can also break it down to 3 separate Santas!
Well I couldn't resist any longer and treated myself to some Forever Friends stamps and a penny black one that I didn't get round to buying last year. Although they were half price, as I had some expense money from work for some mileage!!
Decided to try another challenge today and this weeks challenge at Double Dutch is Wild Animals. I've used this gorgeous little image from CC Designs Sweet Treats Set that you can buy from Tracy at Dies to Die For, along with the lovely Doodlebug Paper.
I love the new Forever Friends stamps and Gina kindly sent me some images as I am meant to be saving for the baby, esp as my job is uncertain as our company was bought in a hostile takeover! The only problem is after using these today, I have fallen even more in love with them. Hubby has said that he's sure that a little crafting treat won't break the bank, so I might have to take him up on that offer!

I love this stamp, Natalie from Crafting Fun stamped me some images last year and i got this stamp a couple of months ago. Really going to have to get going on some Christmas cards, managed to colour a few images today, so need to make a few more cards!!
Well this is my second Christmas card of the year! I am so far behind where I normally am, that I will have to get a move on. I normally make all my mum's cards as well and Matt gets asked for special ones by work colleagues, but not sure if I will be able to this year. I've made this card for this weeks challenge at Cute Card Thursday, which is Christmas Animals and also used the fab sketch on Penny Black Saturday.
Look what the lovely Gina from Card Kabin sent to me. A gorgeous card filled with Forever Friends images and it's really cheered me up, as I've been feeling a bit under the weather the last couple of days.
Hi and welcome to my little blog!!! I'm a 36 year old card maker from Cheshire. I'm married to Matt, we have a gorgeous little boy called Harrison and 2 lovely cats called Spitter and Blacky. I've been card making just over 4 years and I'm totally addicted and also to shopping for card making supplies :o) I love stamping, pretty papers, ribbons, glitter, embellishments and die-cutting.
