More christmas cards

Well not managed too many cards this week, seem to have more energy now, but Matt finished his law degree exams on Monday so I've been spending time most evening with him. It's a bit strange spending so much time with him, as the last month he has been studying every evening and all weekend!!!!! Hopefully in 3 weeks time I will know if we are having a little boy or girl, Miss Organised here can't bear not knowing as I want to start decorating the room and getting things sorted.

The first card is using this lovely little image that Michelle from Card Grotto, he is such a cutie.

Black & White Birthday Card

It seems ages since I've had an desire to make a card, but I think I have realised why I lost my mojo. I've always done quiet simple cards and always stuck with the less is more moto!!! I think with all the fantastic blogs around and the talented card makers I started to doubt how good my own cards were against their creations. Decided to go back to my old style, they might not be the most imagitive cards, but the ones that I enjoy making the most.

Anyway I had this image from Hans and I just love it, so decided to make a girlie card with it.

Christening card

My brother asked if I could make a christening card for one of the girls he works with, using a picture of the twins. She wanted a large A5 card and the little girls names on it and this is what I came up with.

Hoping this is the start of more crafting! Things at home are a bit mad and crafting is just the last thing on my mind at the moment. Hopefully I can reveal all soon and things will calm down

Cute Card Thursday & Dutch Dare

I've combined todays Cute Card Thursday and Dutch Dare challenge into one card.

The challenge at Cute Card Thursday is to make a card using no shop bought patterned paper, but you can make your own!!! I used versamark with a baby footprint stamp to create a watermark effect and embossed the yellow card.

The challenge at Dutch Dare is to use 3 ribbons and 3 buttons.

The picture isn't great, so I'll try and get a better one tomorrow.

Home Sweet Home

Blimey I can't believe how little crafting I have done and I just have not been in the mood. I hate it when you really lose your mojo and no matter how often to sit at your desk, you just can't get in the mood to make a card :o(

Anyway this is a really simple card that I made for our friends Mark and Gail who have moved into a gorgeous house this weekend.

There is a great new challenge blog for all penny black lovers. The first challenge is to make a card with the first penny black stamp you ever bought.

I got 3 stamps from The Glitter Pot about this time last year and was bitten by the bug. I got Bee Happy, A Tender Hug! and You're a Treasure. As I have no anniversary cards made up I decided to use You're a Treasure

Cute Card Thursday

This is my take on this weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge, which is to use 3 different embellishments on your card.

My brother wanted a golfing card for my dad . My mum has bought him golfing lessons to get him out of the house now he has taken retirement and is only doing a bit of consultancy. Think she is getting a bit tired with him always been in the house, as he is disturbing her routine shes had for the last 35 odd years!!!
