Friday Sketchers challenge

It's one of my best friends Jo's birthday today and this is the card that I have done for her. She's loves her nights out and I thought this bella suited her and the brad in the middle of the flower say Having Fun, which we always do. I used the sketch from this weeks Friday Sketchers challenge for the card

If you want some Stamping Bella's check out Dies to Die For and Tracy will be able to send you a list of the ones she has in stock.

Also all the papers that I have used are feebies from a couple of magazines, how good is that!

I got this image in a swap and have never used her, so I though I would make a card as she is so cute. Bellas are great for me, as I'm not always that confident with my colouring and there isn't that much to do on them ;o)

Papertake Weekly - Claudia's Box Challenge

The weeks challenge over at Papertake Weekly is a tutorial by Claudia to make a box from 2 sheets of card. It is so so easy, i hate anything fiddly and wasn't sure if i'd have the patience to make it but it only took about 10 mins to make the box. Decided to decorate in shocking pink and use it to store my new bellas from Tracy at First Class Crafts. Going to make another couple for my Magnolias and Sugar Nellies!!

NB - I thought it needed something else, so I added some prima flowers and brads and now I'm a lot happier!

My mojo has gone!

Well my mojo seems to have gone missing, if anyone finds it can they please send it home!!!! Don't think it helps that we have had a hectic weekend and I'm feeling terrible. We have made 5 trips to the tip with rubbish from our building work and 2 trips to B&Q. Not to mention I've had to get my mum to do our washing as our washing machine has been disconnected until after the new kitchen arrives, so I've had to go over and pick it up from them.

This is another card made using Stamping Bella from First Class Crafts. I coloured this and yesterdays image on Friday night and it's taken me ages to finish this card today!!!

Cards at last

At last I have made some cards tonight. Spent the last night designing name cards for my friends winter wedding, so I now have about 100 to make for her, I'll post a piccie when I've got them printed and one made up. I've also had to make up a couple of boxes of cards, one Christmas and one Other Occasions for my mum to donate to the Cancer Research raffle. Always struggle making boxes, but after 2 years of struggling I think I might have just about cracked it, did the lids in acetate so that you could see the cards and tied them in ribbon.

Was hoping to play with my Nestabilities dies as well last night, but my Sizzix Texturz kit hasn't arrived, so I will have to keep my fingers crossed it arrives tomorrow.

My first card I have mounted paper from Pink Petticoat onto blue card and mounted across the middle of the card. The Penny Black image I got from Natty K and I have coloured him with Marvy Le Plume pens and added stickles to his scarf and snow. Finished off with a peel off coloured blue.

I covered this DL card with some embossed paper that I had from a Crafty Bitz QVC TSV from about 2 years ago!!!! The image I received from Julie and this was coloured with Marvy Le Plume pens and stickles added. Sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.

I love Snowbunny bella, she is so easy to colour and always look fantastic - wish I did after so little work :o) She is watercoloured with Marvy Le Plume pens and stickles added to her hat, pom-poms and cuffs. I've added little Papermania star gems and mounted onto pink card. The paper is both from Pink Petticoat.

Hubby has spotted a craft fair this Sat & Sun locally and was stupid enough to point it out to me!!!!! So guess where we are going this weekend :o)

Another Bella

I just love this bella, she is great for girlie christmas cards. I embossed some blue card with my cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and added this to the left hand side. I mounted bella and a Curly Girly seniment from Pink Petticoat onto the same blue card and added to the right hand side. I then used my Sizzix to cut out the Let It Snow.

My new Bella

I've just received my Snowbunnybella and she is lovely. I've used paper from my Dovecraft Tis the Season paper pack and the sentiment is from Girly Curly at Pink Petticoat. I finished her off with lots of stickles glitter!

Kitty's Blog Candy Giveaway

Kitty is have a Blog Candy Giveaway to celebrate having 5000 hits.

All you have to do is design a card using the following elements - A Stamp/s, Patterned Paper/s, Flowers/Blooms & Jewels.

I made this card for my mum who is currently undergoing hospital treatment and had to go back into the hospital on Sunday as her treatment was making her really sick. I though this might cheer her up.

I used my Flowahbella from First Class Crafts and coloured with Marvy Le Plume pens. I also used Mum paper from DCWV, Prima flowers and a Papermania jewel brad.

I still a bit nervous about being too adventurous and I'm unsure about the finished result. Doesn't help when our camera's rubbish (I'm sticking to that excuse!)
