Papertake Weekly

Well as I promised myself today, I took myself off to my craft room this evening to have a little play. Remembered its Papertake Weekly challenge on a Monday and it was another fab sketch from Katherina, which made it so much easier to create a card :o)

Some crafting

Blimey I can't believe that I added these pictures and didn't even write anything, how rude of me!!!!

I was asked to make a few cards for a lady that I used to work with, a wedding card in a M&S style of card, a 60th for a lady who likes flowers and a 60th for a lady who like gardening.

Hoping this week will be more productive for crafting, our lives have gone a bit hectic lately and I'm really finding it hard to find the time. Going to give a challenge a go tonight when I get home from work!

I'm back

Well I have been off on my hols for a long weekend to The Lakes and we've had a great time. Such a shame to get up at 7 this morning and go back into work.

Hoping to get round everyones blogs tomorrow, we've been without internet access for nearly a week so I have been missing out on everyone's great cards.

Also, hoping to get some crafting done soon as I am missing all my challenges

Loads of cards

I while back Tracy from Dies to Die For asked myself and Michelle from The Card Grotto to make some cards for her to send into a magazine using products from her site.

Unfortunately they didn't realise how amazingly talented Michelle was and neither of our cards were selected (not surprised with mine!!). I was going to boycott the mag, but it's one of my favs so that idea quickly passed :o)

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge

This weeks challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge is to use circles on your card. Well my card ended up being dominated by my circle, as I cut is out a bit too big on my cricut, hence the fake stitching to try and make it a bit smaller!!!

3 challenges in one!

Well I have been so far behind on my challenges, that I have managed to combine 3 challenges into 1 card!!! The challenge at Penny Black Saturday was a colour combo of brown, pink and green (subtle hints of green on mine), Papertake Weekly was to make a Thank You card and Friday Sketchers was obviously a sketch :o)
