Just having a break from crafting to have lunch, so I thought I'd upload what I have done this morning. Thanks also to everyone who left messages yesterday, a lot commented that they looked forward to seeing the cards created with my stash, so I had to make an effort and use some of it. My problem is that I buy these things and then can't bear to use them just incase there becomes a shortage in craft goodies!!!!
This card layout was inspired by one on Natty K's blog, the paper is from my new DCWV Christmas stack and ribbon I got from my local craft shop. The Carolling Duck has been watercoloured using Marvy Le Plume pens and stickles added to his hat. I have embossed the blue card using my snowflakes folder, the silver padded snowflakes are from Mei Flower and the sentiment is Pink Petticoat.
This card I have used an image that I got from Jules at Juliesjapes and I have coloured in with H2O's, although I am not that happy with this to be honest. Never seem to get that good a result when I use them!!! I have added stickles to the tinsel round the tree. The paper was from Partners, ribbon is Anita's sticky ribbon and the sentiment is Pink Petticoat.
This card is using one of my favourite christmas stamps, the Carolling Duck from Penny Black. He's watercoloured using Marvy Le Plume pens and stickles added to his hat for some Christmas sparkle. This card I used a lola image from pink petticoat watercoloured with my Marvy Le Plume pens and paper from my new DCWV paperstack. I've added stickles to her hat and dress and the sentiment is also from Pink Petticoat.
Off to have another play this afternoon, as we're not going over to my parents this Sunday so more time to craft!!!! Hopefully will get photos whilst we still have some day light, although it has been foggy in Cheshire today, must be all the bonfires and fireworks last night!
